It's funny how the gun banners try to depict us as racist and misogynist and then also say people should be disarmed. Clearly, the folks who are truly misogynist are the jack holes that think women can not and should not be able to defend themselves.

I get very concerned when I read these kind of stories. Yes, it ended well, but really by luck and nothing else. He broke into her house, apparently got close enough to "beat on me" that she maintained control of her weapon vs him taking it from her is in my mind, pure luck. I feel women, myself included, are hesitant to to pull the trigger until its potentially too late. I'm glad it worked out as it did, but there's a lot to learn here. Certainly know your target, but don't hesitate too long.

It also galls me the progressives have the nerve to state the poor+elderly will find getting a free ID to vote with is a horrible burden, but would make them jump through hoops of fire to be able to defend themselves in communities with notoriously poor police response times.
