Eleven commercial jets have reportedly been stolen in recent weeks in Libya, and Western intelligence agencies have begun warning they could be used in terror attacks on 9/11, the anniversary of the devastating Osama bin Laden-orchestrated attacks on New York and Washington that left nearly 3,000 dead.
According to a report in the Free Beacon, the jets were taken by Islamist militias in Libya, and reports distributed within the U.S. government “included a warning that one or more of the aircraft could be used in an attack … on the date marking the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks…”

They may be missing now , but they will show up some day......soon !
Re: 11 Jetliners 'missing' after jihadis take over airport
And no one seems to know where they might be. No way to track them. Radar wouldn't have noticed 11 commercial jets leaving the same airport in rapid succession, no flight plan, no flight number, no communication, no nothing.
The first time these planes resurface, shoot them down, no questions asked. Don't care who is on them or how they got there. These bastards will fill them with unwilling civilians in the hope that the mush-heads in DC won't shoot them down for fear of the worldwide outcry. They're gonna die anyway, so might as well limit the casualties to the occupants of the planes and save the innocents on the ground.
Hard to believe we have to wait until 1/20/17 to be rid of this dog turd.

What worries me is they've had time for a new paint job. Might be hard to know them next time somebody sees one.
It also worries me that I'm flying to the "Big Easy" on Sept 6 and returning on the 12th. Got a business meeting there Sept. 8-10. Wanted to comer home on the 11th, but my AA flat refused to book a flight for me to fly on 9/11. That was the first I'd thought about the date being significant. Now I'm a little worried about going. Maybe more than a little.

The models of planes taken have fairly short range. Maximum fuel would still limit them to east coast targets, and they would be flying on fumes in any attempt to navigate any further thus having significantly lesser payloads compared to 9/11. Several are incapable of navigating across the Atlantic, considering they would also be fighting the air current. There is a threat no doubt but the odds are in your favor. I suspect Europe is a more likely target. They have been getting alarm bells from Norway and the U.K. for some time now and its a lot closer.dorminWS wrote:What worries me is they've had time for a new paint job. In either case good luck.

I recommend driving to the Big Easy. It's not a bad ride. And I guarantee that you have a much more comfortable vehicle than my daily driver.
