Very nice.
The NRA is great for what they do, with regard to training in safety, use and things of that nature. They even lobby on Capitol Hill. They also seem to do okay with regard to being a voice for firearm owners when it comes to public opinion. They don't seem to be very active in the legal front though.

I'm a big 2nd Amendment Foundation supporter - just re-upped my membership for 5 years. You have to really like an outfit the sues the hell out of the antis.
I'm an NRA member too because they have a different role. They are our lobbyists at the federal level and here they are effective because they have the membership and gun industry clout that politicians respect.
Join and support both; they have different missions and they fight for us.

It strikes me that having the SAF flying under the media radar, for the most part, is probably not a bad thing. Look how badly the press paints NRA members.
And, come to think of it, while so many folks are distracted by focusing hatred on the NRA, it seems that the SAF is free to do their work with little obstruction.
