My SIL plans on runngn for Dinwiddie Sheriff. I told him to ask for an invite so you can meet him.
He'll probably arrive with a bunch of jack-booted thugs and disarm everybody! :machinegun:

I had a Midget working for me for years. He wasn't 4' tall...In our younger days we got to wrestling around and it didn't take me long to find out he was a handful. Kind like wrestling a Python. Your SIL and his "Bunch" will be welcome ! :friends:

Due to a unforeseen family event, I wouldn't be able to attend this get together. I was looking forward to this one since it's the closest event we've had to my neck of the woods in a while. I hope I can make the next event, regardless of it's location.

I've adjusted the list accordingly:

Hey Randy... the weather looks like it is going to be nice... at touch on the warm side, but nice. That said, a lot can change in a weather forecast in a few days. Is it safe to assume that this is a Rain or Shine event?

In preparation for both direct sun and rain, I am adding some extra folding chairs and a 10x10 canopy with both solid walls as well as mosquito netting walls.

Bring list:
Randy & Carol (Hosts) - Burgers, hot dogs, grill, charcoal, firewood, paper plates, cups.
Marc Spaz - Tuna Salad, misc bread, a few cases of water, misc chips, extra dining-ware, tarp to catch brass, video camera, extra seating, 10x10 canopy.
Rick (allingeneral) - 8-foot table, steel dueling target, tarps and blankets, various other stuff.
Vern (Taggure) Pulled Pork, Buns, and a couple racks of ribs, (We can heat them up on the grill).
Ed and Chassity - Red Beans and Rice (will bring a table and 10x10 canopy if needed too).
Brian & Kat - Couple pans of brownies - not the special kind. Case of water in cooler.

It does look like the weather should be fine , maybe a little warm. Our range is in the woods with plenty of shade and usually a nice breeze. We also have a roof on our shooting platform. I also have a covered pole shed close to the range we can set up for food if it does rain. Great idea to bring a canopy...I see that Ed is going to bring one too , so we should be fine. Also I have a Good road all the way to our range area...Nothing like the road at The Cove in Gore... My wife drives her car there all the time. If it rains still no problem !!!
