Constellation Brands Beer Division announced a voluntary recall of select packages in the U.S. containing 12-ounce clear glass bottles of its Corona Extra Beer that may contain small particles of glass. The voluntary recall covers 12-ounce clear glass bottles in select six-pack, 12-pack and 18-pack packages containing bottles with the production codes listed here.
Consumers can determine whether they have affected product by checking for the 8-digit alphanumeric code printed on the necks of Corona Extra 12-ounce bottles and on the side panels of the cardboard cartons of 12-packs and 18-packs, as indicated on the images below.

Hmm. I hope I can remember to check the bottles in my fridge when I get home.
I did notice that the bottles got empty right quick, once opened.

Why the hell would you buy Corona in the first place?

Re: Corona Glass Bottle Recall
I bought Corona because the store that I hurried into doesn't stock Modelo.
I also refuse to purchase diet beer (aka "lite"), I don't care for Budweiser, I don't buy beer with cartoons on the label...
Corona was pretty much the only viable option at that particular store. Or Beast. But I wasn't ina ghetto mood, that day.

Re: Corona Glass Bottle Recall
I don't care for Corona, either. But I think I'd avoid ANY beer owned or packed by Constellation Brands Beer Division. Glass particles almost surely came from bottles exploding on the filler and then the operator failing to observe the proper procedures to avoid glass inclusion. Either that, or they got the bottles with the glass already in them and didn't properly rinse them. Either way, I don't want any of their beer, because poor procedure can happen any hour of any day, and those glass shards are pretty hard to digest. I'll stick with the craft brewed stuff myself.
