Robbery in gun free zone???

Post by speezack »

I read somewhere recently, that a robbery took place, I believe in Richmond or surrounding area, in a store that had a "No guns allowed" sign in the window or on the front door... does anyone recall seeing that article or have any info on the occurrence? As I recall, it was sort of breezed over by the media... just a quick 15 second or so story on the news and then nothing further.

I just thought it would have been interesting to see the take given by the media on a crime involving guns that took place in an establishment that had banned guns.... thus giving the criminals the knowledge that no one in the store was armed and consequently would be an easy mark....

Yes, thanks for the info... I think that is the one I was looking for....

... and then, there was this one... which some of you have seen but it is a good one... and the neighbor tried to have this removed but it was not offensive and violated no local ordinances, so it remained, as I understand it....
