Over five days on this one and still no new evidence of any kind of drugs in the house, Too bad this wasn't in Indiana and maybe we could've seen the first case of this. I'll sleep sounder at night knowing one more obedient thug is off the streets.

Bell County jail records show 49-year-old Marvin Louis Guy of Killeen was being held Sunday on three counts of capital murder in connection to the shooting.

Is it worth risking one’s life to take narcotics out of the hands of eager users? Is this a cause that decent people can continue to support in light of all the innocents killed in the process? Furthermore, are these no-knock raids, which pit police officers against drowsy citizens in the most dangerous manner possible, a responsible tactic of law enforcement?

Not gonna bash LEO's at large, but I hate no-knock raids. I can't believe the courts would allow this crap, much less order one. I would not be shocked if every one of them ended up with someone being shot. You bust into anyone's home and they are going to defend themselves. How the heck are you to know if its the police on a legit warrant or not?

Judicial oversight is often meaningless. it's my understanding many a judge will sign of on a warrant (particularly one involving drugs or the home of a poor person) without even skimming over any evidence.

http://dailycaller.com/2014/05/20/rural ... ican-flag/

Police in a rural Pennsylvania town charged a man with two misdemeanors last week after he hung a large, badly spray-painted American flag upside down on the front of his house.

The cop involved in the kerfuffle also took down the flag, neatly folded it up “and seized it as evidence,” Pittsburgh NBC affiliate WPXI reports.

“I was offended by it when I first saw it,” said Allegheny Township assistant police chief L.J. Berg. “I had an individual stop here at the station, a female, who was in the military and she was very offended by it.

Yeah, go ahead and whine. Then get acquainted with regulations governing use of the flag, and respectful use of the flag. Burning the flag, stomping on it, or otherwise desecrating the American flag is a disgusting habit of ignorant people. The SCOTUS has said desecration amounts to speech. BULLSHIT! You want to desecrate the flag, don't do it in my presence.

At sea, if your radio isn't working and you are in distress, flying the flag upside down is a sign to people passing by that you need help. In the political world, it means the country needs help... and it does.

I guess the question is, was it a sign of the government needing help or was it meant to be disrespectful to the country?

But...but...but it's only a few bad apples!

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/05 ... y-stomach/

The incident began after Wagner says he clocked the woman’s red Pontiac going 77 mph in a 55 mph zone. The dash cam video shows the trooper activating his lights and siren before pulling a quick U-turn to pull over the driver. About 45 seconds after the U-turn, the woman had pulled over to the side of the road.

Wagner is seen getting out of his car with his handgun already drawn and pointed at the car. He slowly approaches the vehicle and orders the woman to get out. The trooper then handcuffs the woman and takes her back to his cruiser.

“I chased you for two miles doing almost 80 mph after I went right by you and turned around, that’s the problem,” the trooper can be heard telling the woman. “You really have to pay attention to what’s going on.”

That was not 2 miles.....even if it had been sometimes it takes that long to find a safe place to pull over. Really going 77 in a 55 is not great but it is also not that uncommon. No need for all of that nonsense.

It's only a few though. people will start to worry when it becomes more frequent I'm sure!

http://www.policestateusa.com/2014/william-clark/

SCHERERVILLE, IN — A federal lawsuit alleges that police officers forged the results of a breath alcohol test and then forcibly penetrated a man’s body with a catheter to extract his bodily fluids.

William B. Clark, 23, gave a disturbing account detailing official police misconduct and invasive, forced medical procedures.

Clark, of Crown Point, was pulled over on the evening of May 20, 2012, while driving on U.S. 30 near its intersection with U.S. 41, on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Schererville Police Officer Matthew Djukic initiated the traffic stop, and Officer Damian Murks responded in a separate vehicle. Mr. Clark was asked to perform a Breathalyzer test, which he did.

The suit alleges that the results of the breath test were falsely reported to create a pretext to arrest Clark. The legal limit in Indiana is 0.08 BAC, police claimed Clark’s was 0.11 BAC. While on the scene, Officer Djukic searched the interior of Clark’s car with a canine, a process Clark says was done illegally.

For those who don't trust the police state site.

http://www.nwitimes.com/news/local/lake ... 2946f.html

In the lawsuit filed Friday in U.S. District Court, Clark, 23, claims he was driving on U.S. 30 near the intersection of U.S. 41 in Schererville last May when he was stopped by Djukic. According to the lawsuit, Djukic allegedly observed the vehicle, which contained one other occupant, driving erratically and claimed he detected a moderate odor of alcohol in Clark's vehicle. Murks allegedly responded in a separate car.

The suit states that Djukic falsely claimed Clark's breath test results were 0.11, exceeding the legal limit of 0.08. The lawsuit also alleges the town failed to provide proof of the test result when a motion for discovery was filed in the criminal case against Clark, which is still pending.

The lady getting stopped for 77 in a 55 is routine, with the exception that she did not go to jail.

In almost every state in the country, 20+ over the speed limit is reckless driving. That is a misdemeanor which is a jailable offense. You are considered jeopardizing the life of others around you based on your speed of travel.

If you are behaving in a way that is known to cause death, the police have the right to meet that deadly force with deadly force. If you don't like it, don't behave in a way that risks the life of others and you won't have that problem. Seems pretty straight forward to me.

I've known several folks who've been pulled for doing 80+ in 55 zservice pistoThey were all ticketed, (and in some cases, the ticket reflected a speed lower than actual speed) and sent on their way.

None were handcuffed, none got to check out the business end of a service pistol.

I wonder what turned up when he ranthe plates?

Reckless in VA is 16 over the posted limit. I got nabbed a while back for that. Was very polite to the cop. He dropped it to 15 over and sent me on my way.

Actually, reckless in VA is 20 mph over the limit, or 80 mph.

I was arrested for reckless on Route 66 back in 1997. I had never seen a restricted lane before moving to VA and had no idea what it was. I was doing about 67 miles an hour in a right hand restricted lane. The lane was closed and I did not realize it. The Trooper pulled me over, arrested me at gun point, impounded my vehicle, lied to the Magistrate at my bond hearing and the Judge at my trial; telling them I was traveling in excess of 120 mph.

I was blessed not to go to jail. I had a witness that testified to my actual speed and I had a letter from GM stating that the electronic speed limiter in the car was set to 115 from the factory. The sitting Judge was an ass. He stopped the hearing in the middle of our defense saying "I've heard enough of this, I'm late for my tee time and you were obviously doing something wrong or you wouldn't be here." He declared me guilty even though the State failed to make their case. I still lost my license for a year and it cost me a fortune in fines and legal expenses.

I never appealed it because my lawyer said, if we re-try the case and I lose again, I could go to jail. Since I was free, he suggested I let it go.

But yes, again, I was approached by the Trooper with his weapon drawn and ordered out of my vehicle at gun point.
