What would be a good asking price for...

Post by paramedic70002 »

An Interarms import (Rossi?) carbine in 44-40 and a Ruger Vaquero case colored 44-40 along with an old west style holster and a box of ammo. Both have about 2 cases of ammo through them so practically brand new.

I just pulled the Ruger out of storage and am dismayed to see I have a little rust to clean up on the frame. Dang. Luckily it is just a little surface dusting. I had desiccant packs in the case and it was wrapped in rust preventative gun storage plastic. Grr!

The rifle looks as good as the day I bought it.

A guy suggested he would give me $250 just for the two guns but I thought that was a bit low. I know they are a specialty market but also that market was hot.

Any advice?

$700-$900 each based on the current market.
