I have experience working with people. People are people. If this is happening in one place you can bet it is happening in other places it just hasn't been caught yet.

In a system where your 2nd amendment rights hang by a thread in the senate I think we had better be concerned with any fraud.

Those illegal votes were what was discovered. The real number is like 10 times higher.
In my country you cannot vote without an ID. Ans still fraud is rampant. Last year an MP was indicted for organizing voting fraud. And we're talking about hundreds of buses carrying voters from one poll to another, in a country 15 times smaller than this.

SB, you are falling into the Democrat's trap by insisting on statistical evidence for something that, because of presently lax election laws in many places (and at the federal level), is nearly the "perfect crime".

I don't think it's falling into anyone's trap to ask for crazy things like "proof" or "evidence" of any crime. I agree that election laws are lax and need to be tightened, but the current method of passing whatever state Republicans can just a few months before election day isn't exactly winning over any fans.

The Dem propaganda strategy on this is to claim that there is no fraud, and demand that we provide massive statistics to "prove" the problem. By spouting that line, unwittingly you are falling into their trap.

Why do you think ACORN reformed itself into Obamacare "navigators"? What do you suppose is the purpose of "walking around money" given to "community organizers" by the Dem party? What is the effect of the "motor voter" law that the Dems passed early in the Clinton administration? What about the Minnesota Senate election that has been shown to have fraudulently elected Al Franken? Like cockroaches or ants in your kitchen, the "few cases" that have come to light are only a tiny sample of the infestation in the darkness.

The only solution, and the best way to discover all the fraud, is to have strict Voter ID laws. When turnout statistics change significantly due to the cleansing of the voter rolls and prevention of fraud at the polls, you will then see how bad it was.

How about we just stop acting like the libs, dems, and welfare recipients and stop blaming this problem on everyone but ourselves.

We are to blame for this. Republicans and conservatives in general have gotten horribly lazy at the polls and events. Did you see our pathetic turnout at lobby day?

Look at our counterparts. They are ferociously bonded to their cause and actually work together unlike we do. It also doesn't help that we lambaste people for their personal lives. Do you really think that makes them feel like we're a welcoming group of people?

This forum alone has rampant homophobia. As long as we have anti gay, and anti abortion candidates, we'll never win another election. Don't like it? Oh well. Either play their game or don't compain when we loose.

Ive just had it with people that say we need to win and take back the country when we can't even take back our God Damn state.

Take responsibility for your actions because as long as we keep blaming them it's going to get worse and worse.

I don't doubt there is vote fraud at all. Like that recent magical missing machine. But I also know a good majority of people I know that call themselves conservatives didn't get off their ass either.

PS. And we just lost the fight on the celebretory gunfire bill.

Ohh... so, if we all suddenly approve of the brutal and torturous murder of unborn infants, our troubles will cease? I doubt it.

Most of us are not "homophobic". Actually, I have yet to meet anyone who truly does suffer from a debilitating irrational fear of homosexuality. Near as I can tell, homophobia is a non-existent condition made up by people who have no idea what a moral objection to anything is about, so they made up a phrase to explain it.

Indeed, if the majority of the forum suffered from this fictitious affliction, we would have run off Kinetic ages ago. But, as it happens, we seem to respect his point of view. I, myself, hold him in high regard.

Just because some of us have an opposition to the homosexual lifestyle, that doesn't mean we have any sort of fear, or feel any sort of hatred. It simply means that we object, for whatever reason, to some lifestyle choices. That's it. Notpparticularly a big deal.

I do agree that rallying conservatives is like herding cats. That's because conservatives are not single issue voters; liberals usually are.

One reason that our opponents are so active is that they get paid to do politics. For many of them it is their primary source of income, whether as direct political actives or as employees of companies that rely on government spending for their revenue.

That's no excuse, though. But it does raise the bar for us volunteers to do much more to educate the public. Only by winning the messaging war (which should be easy on its merits, since we speak truth and they lie) can we overcome their organizational and financial advantages.

The left is traditionally revolutionary in nature. The right is traditionally reactionary in nature. You will never find the level of motivation in the right as it exists in the left.

As for homophobia here, a few members have expressed their distaste for the ah, mechanics of ye old buggery, but I recall zero here wishing to see gays persecuted or discriminated against.

I've already ranted that the Republicans/Gun Lobby has an issue with ASKING for help! Being nasty, rude, and snide does not inspire me to assist in an endeavor, even when I'm a strong supporter.

Why? Because I don't want to be ASSOCIATED with snide, rude, condescending people, OUTSIDE of something that PAYS me!

As to Homophobia? I lived in the GAYEST part of Richmond for ten f'cking years! Having them as neighbors, friends, and employees in the neighborhood, I changed more minds about what a "REDNECK" can be than most.

How...? I explained my positions with logic, advised I understood their positions were emotional, and in time they came to my side. I was never nasty, rude, or snide.

Or as my Uncle Joe would say... "Catch more flies with honey, than vinegar. But ya' can catch even more flies with a sticky trap, and a bug light."
