I have been thoroughly enjoying the warm climate in CA. The climate is pretty much the only thing to enjoy out here... well, except for the Garlic Store that we found about an hour ago
Sadly, though, it looks like I'm fixxin to go to New Jersey. Back to crappy weather.

They're already starting to hype up a potential snow storm the second week of February...

I'm about tired of winter. Snow is losing me money. It's downright ridiculous when you see snow on I-10 in Texas. I got caught in snow there back in December, and a buddy of mine got held up in ice in the same area, a few days ago.
Summer is welcome to come back, now.

Al Gore was right! Global Warming is responsible for all this snow. If we don't slow down the Global Warming, we are going to have glaciers all the way down to Florida by 2020!!!
My kids have missed a week and a half of school. They cancel classes around here before the snow even starts. It's ridiculous.

Yup... just a threat of snow, and Virginia panics. That was probably my biggest bit of culture shock when I moved to Rochester NY in the late 90's; winter came around, dumped about 3 feet of snow on the ground overnight, and... life continued as normal.
I was amazed. I was also amazed at the amount of wrecks; I would have thought that folks who were used to that sort of thing would have figured out how to drive in it.

Yep... same here... 7 degrees.
What is bugging me the most about the weather in VA is, I got tricked. I came to NOVA to visit family for Thanksgiving in 1996. That week, all the trees were bright green; no signs of Fall. It was in the upper 70's. Guys on motorcycle everywhere. I was wearing shorts and a tee-shirt. It was awesome.
I moved here six months later in May of 1997 and I haven't seen upper 70's and green trees during Thanksgiving week since!
I changed my mind. Al Gore is a lying tool!

This was taken at 7:30 this morning.
i took a spatula outside with me when I let the dogs out. Wanted to be about to scrape frozen balls off of the porch if need be.

I had a SCAR 17 and 16. I also had a bunch of Glocks and a couple H&K pistols. Oh and a DDM4, but I sold everything when our government told me these dangerous tools can actually hurt someone. Apparently they grow legs and go on killing sprees.

Here's something to take your mind off the frozen things outside.

You are welcome.

Do you have real or fake snow? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WnTJTP-_uYw
My friends at home have the real, traditional one, that melts at it should
Think I can start a business to import traditional, "organic snow"?
