Stuff I'm pretty certain I'd have responded with just off the top of my head: I'd have told her it was my right as well as my destiny to be mindless, irresponsible and inconsiderate just the same as it was hers to be fat, ugly, meddlesome and obnoxious. I'd certainly have told her it was none of her DAMN bidness how I earned a living. I'd have offered to FART so the smell would be more agreeable to her, and I'd have revved up the diesel and goosed it to make as much noise and smoke as possible. And I'd have told my daughter in a loud voice right in front of that biotch that right there in front of her was the reason I didn't want her to grow up to be a liberal environmentalist. And it's just a dang shame I quit chewin' terbakker, or I'd have spit just as close as I could to her shoes.

I'd of trolled the heck out of her, everytime she opened her mouth I'd of revved the engine and said "sorry I can't hear you over the engine" in the loudest voice I could manage. I own a full-sized V8 Tundra. Not sure what I would do if she would have come over and shrieked at me about my choice of vehicle. I'd probably roll up my window and turn up Rob Zombie. Or maybe I'd point out that my bike, which I ride often to and from work, gets far better mileage than even her pious Prius.

I'm a big guy and I have no shame in it... but I have to say, judging from her appearance, I doubt a bike has been part of her routine any time in recent past. Poisoning the world with and the lead-acid, sulfuric acid, mercury, nickel oxide-hydroxide and potassium hydroxide is the best she can come up with.

Oh, yea... and whatever comes from the cancer stick she's smokin' too.

I think I read somewhere that a big diesel truck has a smaller carbine footprint and pollutes less than a gas/electric hybrid even if you don't include the poisoning from the batteries. I have to see if I can find the article I was reading and see if I read it right.

EDIT: I reread it. Diesel pollutes more per gallon, but produces more energy and work per gallon. I can see and argument going either way. Gas and diesel make the same 200 mile trip, the diesel created less pollution. Burn the same 10 gallons of fuel, the diesel created more pollution.

Wait until her Prius breaks down (battery or electrical failure?) and she has to get towed in by a big lift back wrecker running a big 7 or 8 liter turbo-diesel. With luck, she'll be 60 miles from a Toyota dealer and have to ride in that truck for an hour listening to diesel-on-the-highway music.

There are two entertaining solutions to people like this.
1) Smile and tell them that you need the truck to carry equipment that you use to exterminate endangered species, continue smile and say nothing else.
2) Do not answer, get everyone in the truck, roll up the windows, rev engine to keep it idling properly. If the person insists on staying and yell at you call the police and tell them that there is a crazy woman running around yelling at people and you think that she is a danger to herself or others, remember to always smile.
