Peoples Republic of Connecticut

Post by DWinter »

I'm just wondering how many criminals are waiting in line to register their hi cap magazines. I don't know about you but this mess scares me.

One step closer to confiscation in CT.

On another note, I see my local Walmart is starting to carry AR style rifles and "tactical" shotguns. The AR's are in .223 and made by DPMS, Sig, and another I can't remember. Must have a new manager.

I saw a Colt and at least one S&W in a Wal-Mart this weekend. I think it was on 360 near Brandermill.

I wish some of the Wally's around FFX Co. carried guns, but we're lucky if they stock super soakers. I think Manassas is as close as I can get.

I still find it funny that the very store that sells these rifles will throw someone out of the store for having one on their person.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they sell them where they do, but can we pick a policy? Wally World needs to tell us if they are gun friendly or not. My head spins trying to keep track of the independent stores.

There are no independent stores... it's up to the store manager....

There are store managers in rural wal-marts that you can come in with bloody camo, and a pistol on your hip, and they just point you to the sporting goods section with a smile, and "Congrats on harvesting some game!"

As if those guys didn't already KNOW where the section was anyway...

Wal-mart doesn't phase me... TARGET does! That Fru-Fru-Fruitstand of a knock-off just sells higher end "chinese" junk that Wal-mart carries. I ain't paying extra because someone's name is on it...

Target (tah-ZHay). Pretentious Wally.

But, they do have some rather "retro" styled things, from time to time, that I like.

I do believe that I got the pink flamingo bobble for the back dash of my Lincoln from them. That was also the place where I was mistaken for an employee while OCing.

This pic of people waiting to register guns and mags in CT sickens me. How many gang-bangers or mentally unstable people in that line? Yeah, that's what I'm guessing, too.

If this comes to VA, I will become a felon. I refuse to register a thing besides my dismay.

Not only have they put their names on a list, but now the cops have their pictures as well. Think LE wasn't taking pics? Yeah, right.

I'm telling you, in 100 years private ownership of any type of firearm will be a history book footnote in the story of how the government made the world safe for all. In fact, I bet it happens by the time my kids are my age (50). The country is on the edge, and that POS in the White House is angling to get his 11 million acolytes legalized to push her over.
