1911s, Ruger pistols, and Commander-sized 1911s.

So how could a feller resist this SR1911CMD? If it's as nice a pistol as the full-sized SR1911 it could wind up as my fav-O-rite pistol - IF it ain't lost in a tragic boating accident like all the others. Too cold, wet and muddy to shoot it right now.

Yep. The SR1911 ain't a Wilson Combat, Ed Brown, Nighthawk Custom, or Les Baer. It's a fairly inexpensive ($750-ish) production 1911. But DANG, I like them. I figure the bang for the buck on an SR1911 is something like 2-4 times what it is with the aforementioned brands.
