This is a fantastic story. How can it be blown up into a media sensation so that everyone hears about it?

Maybe send it to Fox News, but beyond that, it doesn't support the progressive agenda, so it just ain't news.

So in other words, a good guy with a gun stopped a bad guy with a gun.
That's why it will never be covered by the mainstream media.

Unfortunately, you are correct.
Now, I wonder if we could get a VA state legislator or two to submit a bill in VA to allow teachers to carry....

I don't know if you guys have been watching any TV for the past few days, but pretty much every time I turn around they are airing some anti-gun show. I saw the same gun grabber show on TV 3 times in two days.allingeneral wrote:This is a fantastic story. How can it be blown up into a media sensation so that everyone hears about it?
It's like they are making 100% sure that the truth won't get out.
Good story. A win for the American people and for the families who DID NOT have to bury their children.

This is good.
Unfortunately, there is a downside. That is that the resource officer was a deputy. Nobody (except the most extreme of the anti gun wingnuts) is trying to disarm law enforcement. We try to use this a reason to arm teachers, it will get counteracted with the claim that one armed LEO is sufficient.
In this case, apparently it was sufficient. And I'm glad for that. Then again, maybe an armed teacher in the room could have stopped it even sooner. Perhaps a knowledge that any school staff may be armed would have prevented it, entirely. We'll never know.
It was good that the deputy was there to end it, anyway.
