Heh... can't get much uglier than the first pic. Then, I never found Glocks to be particularly attractive, anyway.

I think it's a single stack 9mm to compete with XDS, and S/A's micro-line.

In truth? I may have to think hard about that... I can continue to carry a Colt Mustang... OR ... a Glock 9mm slim-line.

Most of the speculation I've seen says the model 42 is a .380. Don't know if single or double stack.

Also, Glock is supposed to be coming out with model 41 in .45 ACP that is similar to a Glock 34 or 35.

I agree with you on the small and light, but not so sure about the reliable part. I bought a PM9 about 10 years ago. I liked a lot about it, except that it wouldn't feed hollow points. I took it to a gunsmith (on my own dime), and sent it to Kahr (had to pay postage). Nothing worked, so I wound up selling it.

Ya know. I had an XDs and still found myself reaching for my G19 so I didn't feel the need to carry extra Mag's. 15+1 vs 5+1.

Sold the XDs and replaced it with the G30s. I will probably end up with a 26 before summer for "small" carry needs.

I love me some Glock.

I've never seen a reliable kahr..... That's just me, but unless I can shoot at least 500 rounds without a malfunction, it's not reliable. I've put more than 6000 rounds through my glocks without so much as a hiccup. I will say that the blonde on kahr's website is much hotter than gunny though. ;)
I had a SCAR 17 and 16. I also had a bunch of Glocks and a couple H&K pistols. Oh and a DDM4, but I sold everything when our government told me these dangerous tools can actually hurt someone. Apparently they grow legs and go on killing sprees.

If it turns out to be a single stack 9mm I would be very interested (but maybe not so interested in a 380). I have been thinking about buying a Glock 26 to be a little brother to my 19, but I might wait to see what this 42 business is all about. Or I might buy a 26 and then a 42 and then whatever else catches my attention…

I got to handle the 42 the other day. Meh. Not overly impressed. Not really interested in a .380. I don't see this as a big seller for GLOCK. Now a single stack slim 9mm, that may be more appealing.

It may be more suited for ladies since the grip and slide are slightly bigger than the other micro .380s on the market (TCP, LCP, BG, Diamond back). The slid offers more purchase to grip and rack.
