McCain, after criticizing Senators Cruz and Lee for the defund effort and saying it was irrational to believe Obamacare could be defunded or repealed, is now calling for total repeal of the law.

Seriously? What is wrong with this azzhat? I've been saying that McCain, McConnell and Boehner need to sit down and STFU and let the GOP pick a candidate who at least has a chance. No more "next in line old rich white guys." Give us someone who can win. I'm going to my local GOP headquarters in Front Royal in Monday to get myself involved.

Don't like the guy, but if I recall correctly he's the first Republican so far to sit down and actually spell out what parts of the plan would be under a repeal and replace strategy. While Republicans have gotten the messaging down perfect on the repeal part, I don't think anyone got the talking points on the replace portion.
Also finally digging up these talking points as a Republican plan is about three years too late. I still hope they're able to make the case though, but this battle would have been a lot easier back in 2009.

This cartoon should be a bull with teats. That's about as much use as McCain is anymore. He should have been term-limited out of office long ago. He has dreams of a Ted Kennedy style legacy. He's nothing but a progressive jackass. If he ever had a serious Republican challenger he could jump to the Dem party and be welcomed with open arms. McCain belongs to the Republican wing of the Democrat party. The sooner he's gone the better.OakRidgeStars wrote:He's a maverick![]()
