A better example would be an AR-15. Sure you can add Foreward grip, Light, Laser, Range finder, Grenade launcher, EOTech, MBUS Flip up sights, bayonet, and possibly a cappucino maker, but when you strip that mess OFF the gun, and just have a decent well made battle carbine, light, fast, and effective. Those same people will be in control of "rebuilding". If we dont have the courage to stop them today, why will we have it during a collapse? The patriot act came about during somewhat of a rebuilding process. I honestly dont think there is any stopping the train.
