Palmetto deals on AR lowers this weekend

Post by UnderwaterMike »

FYI, Palmetto has specials on blemished and regular assembled AR lowers this weekend. I bought a stripped lower last spring, and a lower parts kit and assembled upper a couple weeks ago. I could not be happier with the pricing and quality. If I find employment in the near future, I plan to buy a couple more sets to give each of my boys a rifle for Christmas.

You're welcome. Some of their deals on ammo can be pretty good, too. I got a couple hundred rounds of 55gr .223 for 43 cents each, shipping included. That's as cheap as I saw at the gun show a couple weeks ago and they've had cheaper recently.

Picked up my lower today from my FFL. After close inspection, it looks perfect to me! Not sure what the blem is other than maybe the engraving isn't deep enough?

Gratz! They've had some deals with fully assembled blemished lowers lately. I may have to jump on one, too!

return here with pics...

What lower parts kit are you all ordering? I've seen several different options and are just curious what you guys are going to get.

My other ARs have Spikes Tactical LPKs but since I'm going to build this one on a budget, I opted for the CMMG LPK.

FYI, another good deal on a completely assembled blem lower: http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.ph ... azine.html

I swear, I should get a commission on this stuff.

did you guys buy your LPK through PSA?

I have a trigger group and am building the lower into a pistol first so I was looking at the Magpul LPK w/o trigger group & stock that PSA sells.

This is my first lower build so I'm excited about it.

I got my LPK from them, but it was part of an entire kit, including the assembled upper. I wanted to do the entire rifle assembly myself, from parts. But when I saw that a full set of tools would cost me around $300, I figured that was money I could put to better use. So, I bought this instead:PTAC 16" M4 1:7" 5.56 NATO YHM Diamond Rifle Kit.

From what I've seen -- both reviews and my own purchases -- I think it's hard to go wrong with most of PSA's stuff, as long as you don't go for some uber-cheap/no-name brand.

Does anybody here want to buy my BNIB Phase 5 pistol buffer assembly? My SBR stamp was approved a lot quicker than I expected so my pistol build is now my SBR build.

Let me know!

Here's a picture of the finished PSA build. I used a PSA Blem lower receiver, PSA MOE LPK, LWRC SPR trigger group.
