Searching for a house

Post by Que »

Guys, I moved to Blacksburg on Friday from Indiana. I'm staying with a friend and I'm looking for a house to rent. My experience at Indiana Gun Owners Forum is that mostly anything I need can be found in the gun community. If any of you know of a property manager or home owner that is looking to rent their home to a very responsible family, please let me know.

I'm interested in a 3 BR, 2 bath, with a basement and two-car garage. We are not interested in buying right now because we already own a house in NC and Indiana that are being rented out. Thanks in advance for any help anyone is able to provide.

Sorry, but I have no contacts. I hope you find just what you are looking for!

The rental market in Blacksburg is probably dominated by students. Have you considered Christiansburg? May find something a little easier the further you get from VA Tech.

I used to live Christiansburg and would suggest looking there. Rent is cheaper, less students and a nice place to live. Plus it will only take you 5 minutes to to get to Blacksburg

Besides being closer to work, I've been told that the Blacksburg schools are pretty good.

I did look at Zillow.com and there are some pretty nice properties in Christiansburg. My family won't be here until July, so I may just find a small apartment until then.
