I am with you. Already have started a list of states to look at.

I cannot move tomorrow, but in a few years, unless I lose my rights to move too.

We may go too. TN looks good. Along with TX.

I'm staying put for now... The margin was so close. The D's thought that they would win by a landslide. There is still hope for VA. I think with the debacle of Obamacare, things will turn. We need the southern counties to come to NoVA and push out the Blues.

Don't go!

I've lived here 44 years, and NoVa has finally become the tumor that killed my beautiful Commonwealth.

Unless a f'cking Nuke takes everyone out for 50-100 square miles in D.C., we ain't got a chance...

forgot about TN, thanks! I really like that state.

TX is great too, but, at least where I've been, way too hot way too much of the time.

Patience. TMac just needs a feather in his cap to be Hillary's VP, its the only reason he's here. It's Northam who will be taking over to watch out for, but at least a special election to replace him may end better.

I can't go for a while. So I will likely be here through 2017. But if this is not going to be a freedom loving state I will take my family where it is. We will see what happens. I think we still have the legislature so we will see.

Reverend, I hope you don't mean that.. because I live 16 miles outside of DC...

What we need is a relocation plan to move God fearing, freedom & gun loving patriots into NoVA counties.

The indigent breed faster than we can move.

And freedom loving people are more likely to actively pursue their freedom, so they will try to avoid moving where SWAT goes on public shooting sprees.

The only plan I had?

Start advertising for CONSERVATIVES in MD to MOVE to NOVA!

And vice versa advertise for COMMIE/PROGRESSIVES to move to MD!

Try that... then nukes. :hysterical:

Hang in there, mid-terms are just a year away. Now it's time to make the Dems own Obamacare.

My family came to Virginia in 1610. I'm not going anywhere.

Thanks to the colossal failure of Obamacare, everyone has skin in the game now.

We live in the northern Shenandoah Valley, and it definitely feels like the 'northern frontier'. The cancer that is DC has now spread beyond Manassas. Heck, even the small independent city I live in voted blue. Fortunately all of the surrounding counties are solidly red. If there were a way to cede those blue counties to Maryland, we would do it in a heartbeat (no offense to any of you who live in them  ).

When I think of other places to move to, they usually include the Appalachians. It is more than the terrain, it is the independent spirit of the people. Another good place might be South Carolina. Tons of manufacturing down there, good solid Bible-belt area. Not sure if I could ever leave here though.

As I said on the other thread..

I'm originally from Beaumont, looking for property on salt water between Sabine and Galveston. My Sister and me are buying some land up country as a hunting camp and sanctuary from hurricaines...

3 years and counting.

Then it's back to shrimp nets and gumbo!
