New Member from inside the beltway ...

New member here.

I'm a farm-raised but city transplanted. Over the last 6 - 7 years I've reunited with my shooting roots. Now I'm enjoy handguns, defensive handgun, AR-15 tinkering, muzzle loader shooting, and recently archery.

Working in downtown DC - in my field - it seems like I'm the only person in miles who is interested in shooting. And folks are so sensitive about the issue that I feel like I'm keep some kind of secret in the closet at times.

I mainly use the NRA range for shooting. I joined the forum after reading more about area gun clubs (I'm interested in Izaak Walton and Quantico.) I'm also interested in getting information about hunting in Virginia Wildlife Management Area's such as (Phelps and Thompson)
