Just requested a table at F'burg show

Post by allingeneral »

I just requested a table at the F'burg Gun Show this weekend. I hope it's not too late for me to get in there. I have a lot of work to do to prepare and would hate to do it all for naught. I've never worked a gun show before, so it should be a lot of fun!

If I'm approved, I'll be at a single table with Maglite flashlights, parts and accessories. I'll also be talking the forum up (maybe hand out flyers - not sure yet) as well.

Let me know when you make it to one in Richmond. If you do Richmond, do the one at the Show Place. The one at the raceway isn't worth going to.

It was good to meet you at the show. I saw several people walking around with your forum flyers, too - maybe we'll get more traffic here?

Yeah, that's the plan! It was nice to meet you as well. It was a long day, but I survived. Thanks to VAJay from here at the forum for providing some backup! Thanks Jay!

The kids were conscripted into the All-in-General Army and forced to hand out flyers all afternoon. They did a great job!

So, hopefully, things should start to heat up around here. I spoke to a lot of people who seemed interested. One guy in particular, I think his name was Mike, wanted to know if we could all get together for a shoot or something. I told him "Hold on! One step at a time!" hehe :)

Thanks to all who stopped by the table today. I'll be back at it tomorrow at 9am!

Wish I could'a made it. The 2 1/2 hour drive to my sister in laws was long enough with our 3 year old granddaughter. Imagine another hour up there and then 3 1/2 back. I couldn't have taken it. I did spend a bunch at Degoffs on reloading supplies and have managed to load 300 rounds of 45ACP since I got back yesterday.

I understand about the long ride and all. It's good that you were able to find the reloading stuff that you needed.

I Just got back from the show. Its been awhile since I stood up for such a long time. My heels are angry with me!

I talked about the forum until my face was blue. VAJay and I sold quite a few Maglites. I met quite a few people. It was good to interact with everyone. All in all, I would call the weekend a success. Thanks everyone!
