Started with this;

Then added INOX Controls and Hogue rubbers;

Then I added an Italian Shooting Team Compensator;

Then a Burris Fastfire II;

And topped it off with Hogue Aluminums;

Very fun to shoot at long range... :pistol:

Sweet. I love my 92FS. My favorite.
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...

It's actually the 3rd and not the last time 40shooter.
Well,the stock grips are okay,but the Hogue Wraparounds have the finger grooves which I really like,but they are thicker and didn't give me the hold I need.
The Hogue checkered aluminum is nice and grippy,and a bit thinner.
Plus the aluminum dresses it up a bit,same reason for the Stainless controls.
And it feels more natural for me,as I want the weapon to come to hand naturally,not having to think about my hold.My hands aren't big or long,but they are thick.YMMV.
Same idea when we change Backstraps,it's got to be comfortable and natural.

I am going to get the front and backstraps checkered,as the lines only run up and down,and this past weekend I shot a friends Elite II and a Vertec he crosscheckered,and it was like glue on there.
But for now,some Griptape should suffice... :roll:

Soon,the aluminums will go on my Centurion,and will be replaced with these G 10's;

and I'll get the Beretta medallions put in.

May even have the Slide sent to CCR for a stainless treatment.
I guess it's all about choices and what works best for me.

Cheers,Stix.

Just curious, as i am always tinkering with my pistols to see how good (or not) i am with my pistol at 50 yards, 75 yards, etc..
when you say "long range"...what ranges are you shooting at and what kind of groups do you get? curious about the 9mm at extended pistol ranges and how much of a difference do you see with the barrell extension/compensator...have you tried to shot at the same ranges with out the add ons? what kind of ammo are you shooting?
and is this outside or inside shooting?

Thanks for fielding all my questions!!
Be particular, and be vigilant, as the enemy will only attack on two occasions:
When you're ready or when you're not ready.

Also never forget, that everyone who shows up, is not necessarily there to help.

Drumstix, I was just curious and you only mentioned the grip change once, I like what you did with the gun, did you do it yourself?

BluemontGlock,
The furthest I have shot at from a rest is 55 yards,or 165 feet.It's the limit of our Outdoor pistol range.
And you can and will hit a 6 x 6 inch steel plate at that distance. COM.
I have tried stock and at that distance it's a rare occasion to hear the Steel ring out.
Don't like walking that far to put up and Mark targets.
It's a ravine with a washout and lots of debris,and I guarantee there's Copperheads.

I have the Burris zeroed for 25 yards and closer.
Had to redial in the Burris at that distance,but once she's on,groups are good,but I have the "shakes",and occasional "flyers"...
there is some significant change in trajectory in doubling the distance with WWB 115 grain 9mm...My weapon is so much more accurate than I am...and these are standard 8.5 x 11.5 inch targets with a 3 inch spread from black to black... :wave:

40Shooter,
I did most of the stuff myself,but did need to send my Upper to my buddy in PA that had some of the last available Italian Shooting Team Compensator kits available.
He needed to fit the Conical Bushing and extended length barrel to my slide.
But Beretta's are a breeze to work on.

Thanks for the questions ,Cheers M8's, Stix. :first:

Oh,by the way,with a 22 or AR 15 at 55 yards,I was nailing small pieces of Clay Pigeon.The difference between a handgun and rifle I suppose... :ak47:

Guys,this is the man that has worked on most of my Berettas...
Loves weapons and is a fairly great "Berettasmith". :roll:

I told him all are cool here.

Here is what / how he "accurizes" a Beretta , and he only needs your Upper with the 4.9" barrel

VERY Accurate.
