I'm getting really nervous about the Governors race

I'm voting for Ken. Not because I want to, but because I have to to preserve gun rights for another round.

That being said, with all the TMac support in the highly populated areas, I just see no way Ken can win this.

I'm sure it will look just like the obama map did. Nova/cville/Richmond will be blue and that's what counts.

It will take a lot for me to believe we can recover what we have lost at this point and if TMac wins I won't be surprised. I've really lost faith in VA voters.

I'm voting for Ken, too, though I'm voting for him because I like him. Unfortunately, I also agree with you that the carpetbagger has this election wrapped up. But, whatever the case may be, I ALWAYS vote and I am voting again irregardless of how the polls look.

So the NRA is going to run anti-Mcauliffe ads on guns starting this Monday. This has to help Cuccinelli and I'm really looking forward to see the poll numbers in two or three weeks after the ads saturate the electorate.

How much can it help though? The media has done everything they could over the last year especially, to make the nra look like baby killing, racist, rapists. It could work against us too. if a lefty sees that add they will automatically vote for the guy the nra is bashing.

Those that would reflexively vote against the NRA already know to look for the blue "D". The ads might influence someone more to the center who cares about his/her gun rights. It would be like Hillary doing an ad for T-Mac - wouldn't change our opinion one bit.

Not bent on enforcing tenets of his religion via legislation (We get upset when it's Sharia, but not Catholicism?)... CHECK!

That's the thing with all of us independently minded folk; we tend to be downright headstrong. That has been a source of friction, when it comes to matters of public policy, for quite some time.
