A+ for Dominion Arms!

I transferred a S&W 442 with no internal lock through Dominion Arms, went and picked it up yesterday. I'm new to VA (moved here from MD) and for some reason my status was put on delay... but the guys at the shop told me it happens sometimes to new VA residents.

I waited around and the guys called in and got it straightened out, when I thought I'd have to leave and check back another day! I had to drive out to Manassas from Falls Church (closer to Annandale and Arlington), so I really appreciated the fact that they took a little more time and effort to help me out.

Check for a range report on the S&W 442 once I get time to hit the range, if you're interested. I'll definitely deal with DA again!

Happens sometime to long standing VA residents, my mom gets delayed every time for some reason and she's live here all here life and has been at the same address for over 20 years!

Yeah I found it odd, as I have purchased dozens of firearms over the years, including NFA items, and have never had an issue.

Maybe I finally landed myself on one of those watch lists, what with loving America and the Constitution so much...

If you work for a federal or state agency, it can delay it. If you work in any job with a clearance, that can delay it. There are any number of weird reasons to delay.

I get delayed every time also. Probably because of my clearance.
