NRA Pistol Instructor Training

Post by UnderwaterMike »

Anyone interested in becoming a NRA-certified Pistol Instructor?

I got credentialed for rifle and shotgun almost 10 years ago as a scoutmaster. I want to get the pistol cert, too. I found someone who will do the training for a good price (~$200) but I need at least six people to participate.

We'd schedule for sometime in SEP. Course would run 1800-2200 WED-FRI, and all day SAT and SUN. You must attend all sessions to complete the course.

If you're interested, please post here. If I can get another five people to commit by mid-AUG, we'll go ahead and get everything scheduled. Otherwise, I'll just continue to look for something on my own.

I'm interested, in NoVA, but cannot do it in Sept - all weekends already booked. Let me know if it gets shifted to Aug or Oct or Nov.

This would be at the Arlington-Fairfax IWLA location in Centreville. Classes and range time would both be on chapter premises. You need not be a chapter member to participate.

Sorry for the oversight.

Yes, it's BIT plus cert. I don't think there's a price break if you don't need the Basic Instructor (I don't need that, either).
