You forgot the lemon juice.

Also, used to go to Dallas fairly frequently and there was a drink called a "Bullshot", which was basically a Bloody Mary with Beef broth. Pretty good, actually.

Not a fan of the lemon juice, but I know some people love it. I forgot the celery salt.

Reverenddel, rye whiskey is quite good. More of a bite, a little more edge, drier, less sweet than bourbon.

Yeah, I meant to mention celery salt, but sometimes we just get celery hearts, bruise them a little, and just drop one in and stir it around a little.

Now you guys have done gone and worked a bad influence on me - - again. I just went to the state store and bought some rye. All they had was 750ml bottles of Jim Beam. I was hoping for a pint of something more upscale, if there is such a thing. I usually try not to buy cheap liquor. I'm sure I've had it before, but just don't remember what it was like. My palate may have been too immature at the time to truly appreciate it.

In the future, I'll thank you rapscallions to confine your bad influencing of me to suggesting new guns to buy. SWMBO can't smell a new gun on my breath. :hysterical:

Ok, have just reacquainted myself with rye whiskey. Not bad a-tall. Damnsight cheaper than single-malt; too. But Hell; if the truth be told, the fact that you can afford to buy it (occasionally) is part of the charm of drinking $90-a-fifth scotch.

I have a nice picture of the glass and bottle, but no attachements here, and I dont' belong any photo sharing sites, so you'll have to use your imagination.

It's the last weekend of my wife and I living out of boxes in this apartment. (Next time I sell a house, I'm going to make darn sure we close on the new house before we close on the old!) With that celebration, it's caiprinha Friday.

Getting ready to mix up a little "moose milk." A favorite of the Canadian military that was shared with us by the Germans. I am told the recipe is similar to a Bushwacker which is especially well known in the Pensacola area as I understand.

Moosemilk was a flop. Anybody know how to maintain the consistency of the ice cream so it blends like a milk shake once the booze is added?

Had a few yuenglings in the can yesterday golfing with my pops, I prefer bottled yuenglings, but it's my first choice of beer. Speaking of drinks, I gotta buy the wife some more grey goose. Another notch of my honey-do pole. A list is too small for me now lol.
