Has anyone noticed a drop in price, or availability of .223/5.56mm round becoming more readily available>

yes prices are dropping. Its always been available, its just been a question of price.

Prices are starting to come down in VB. The Armory, for example, is selling PMC .223 for $399, and 5.56 for $499. 9mm cases are down $399-$499, depending on bullet weight (115 & 124 gr, respectively)

And then there's the MIL/LE-only SS198LF 5.7x28 for $30/box...goes well with the Five-SeveN for $999.99...

The Armory also had Wolf 7.62x39 FMJ for $250/case.

well someone needs to tell that to CTD because they are outright gouging folks for .22LR
