Sgt. Wurpes up there in Clackamas seems to be missing the point.

I was just out that way, recently. I reckon that next time I run into a Clackamas deputy, I'll have to let him know how cool I think the Glock Block is, and recomend that they encourage the same from other neighborhoods.

I've always been of the opinion that we should go back to how thing were previously. You catch a criminal, you take him to the magistrate, you swear out a statement, and then they put him in jail till he goes to court (usually within a couple days), judge passes sentence, criminal goes to jail.

You can thank COOK COUNTY, IL for messing that up. Correct! CHICAGO was the first organized police force with arrest powers in the U.S. Before then, there were organized citizen patrols, or "night watchman".
