1. Bloomberg Tyranny Tour in Blacksburg THIS Friday, June 21st!

VCDL is planning a protest at the first Virginia stop for the Bloomberg gun-control tour. The event is scheduled for 9:30 AM at an empty lot in Blacksburg.
The address is:
200 Clay St. SE
Blacksburg, VA
The event currently has no set ending time and I plan on hanging around as long as the antis are there. I expect it will last several hours.
I will be bringing some signs for people to carry, but feel free to bring your own if you wish. Here's some ideas for wording if you wish to "roll your own":
Guns Save Lives
N0 more gun control!
Universal background checks = gun registration Gun control kills!
Keep your hands off my liberty
Gun control failure: Chicago
The tour has been trying to recruit people at Virginia Tech so they can have a friendly audience for their message.
We fully expect the press will be at this event. We need a good turnout so we can make sure our messages gets heard loud and clear! If you can only come for a little while, that is OK. So you don't get too thirsty, you might want to bring a large sugary drink to enjoy.
You can park in the nearby Kent Square parking garage.
I will be in contact with the police to let them know that we plan on protesting the event.
I will send an update on VA-ALERT when the event begins wrapping up.

We just received a confirmation of a table at Southeastern Guns and Knives show at Prince William Fairgrounds, Manassas this weekend. I know this is short notice, but we need volunteers ASAP.
June 22 9 am to 1 pm and 1 pm to 5 pm
June 23 10 am to 1 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm
