Anybody go today. What does the "panic" look like these days?

Got there at 10:30 yesterday and was 4th in line. I was looking to buy 3-4 thousand Federal small pistol primers. Doors opened at 1:00 and I rushed straight down to the reloader dealer in the rear. There were already 4-5 people lined up. The line quickly grew in the next 20 minutes while we waited as the crotchety old vendor and his wicked wife sat there eating their breakfast. There was a sign limiting primer purchases to 1000 AND you had to buy an equivalent dollar amount of other merchandise in order to be allowed to buy the primers! I was able to buy 2000 primers by buying some other stuff that I didn't immediately need but will eventually. The primers were $34.50/1000 which was not bad. Another nearby dealer was asking $40/1000

I went today with my parents. It was really awesome because it was my first time going to a big gun show!

Haha that's a pretty smart requirement. Bet he was making some big bucks that day.

I arrived Friday 4pm, as usual the line was gone, and went right in. The rain may have kept man away, because the crowd appeared small. The only line I saw were at the T & T reloading tables. It had to be about a 30-45 minute wait. Went elsewhere to pick up a reloading book, powder, and ammo (30-40 Krag & 22LR Stingers). I certainly did not see any 'panic'. That might occur Sat and Sun.

Prices for ammo are still high, and I saw in the far back right corner (CLIPS). They had a price for the S&W M&P 9mm 17 round mag at $99. Not sure if that was a 'typo'. Had I known, I would have brought a couple to sell to them.
