My First 1911

I went to the Nation's Gun Show on Saturday hoping to find good deals on ammo but unfortunately prices are still way up. I was on my way out when I walked past Aaron Arm's table and saw a bunch of nice Sigs. I had been thinking of getting a 1911 for a while so the salesman didn't really need to work that hard to convince me to get one (although he did a good job. :clap: )

Anyway, I picked up a Sig Sauer 1911 Carry Nightmare. 4.2" barrel, Nitron finish and night sights. The trigger pull is short and smooth (I guess all 1911 triggers are like that -- this is my first so I have no idea.) Ammo was pricey but I bought 200 rounds just so I can try her out in the range. I can't wait!

Here's a picture of the 1911 with my old P229 in 9mm.

Nice! FWIW those Sigs have a great out of the box trigger.

That's a pretty 1911 right there! I love mine so much it's real close to replacing my ruger 10/22 as my favorite firearm, they just shoot so smoothly.

Good looking 1911! Yes 1911s have the best triggers of any handgun although I would imagine a Sig 1911 is better than most. Congrats!
