Looking for a range suggestion near Washington, DC.

Post by gaudard »

I've done a good amount of looking, but can't seem to find a 100+ yd range where I can shoot my 7.62 within a decent range of Washington, DC. Was hoping I could get some suggestions.

Alright, after some additional research I came across:

http://clarkbrosguns.com/index.cfm
http://www.quanticoshootingclub.com/index.php

I don't see any reviews of the Quantico shooting club, any one a member?

I'd be interested in any additional suggestions.

Thanks

HA! Unfortunately, it is common knowledge that handguns are the preferred firearm for sighting in on DC streets. :pistol:

[Snort]

Worked for 2 years in SE. Did a lot of running...NEVER go east of 14th St SE without Body Armor.

"Near" is relative. I know an excellent range about 50-75 miles west of DC in Rippon, WV. 340 Defense (http://www.340defense.com) has 25, 50, 100, and 400-yard ranges available 7 days/week. Come on out!
