George Jones was the FIRST country artist RECORD I owned! 1979 "George Jones Greatest Hits".

He had the most magnificent "hair helmet"! Him, and Conway Twitty.

One of the stars I grew up listening to. Sad to see him go, especially since I lost my own mother less than a month ago.
