SSG Tactical in Fredericksburg

If you got a good deal or great service from a shop or range and you want to brag about them, here's the place to do it. Likewise, if you are unhappy about someone's service or feel like you've been ripped off, we want to know that too!

I went to SSG on Saturday, thanks to seeing this posted previously and not wanting to drive very far with the Easter traffic. I walked out with my latest toy, a new RRA LAR-15 which I was thrilled that they had what I wanted in stock. I know it doesn't have much to do with SSG other than typing in the info, but it was even better to have the instant approval and complete the sale in minutes. The store seemed bigger inside than from the looks of it outside and had a good selection. The guys I dealt with were helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be heading back there in the future.
Will from this season's Top Shot was also in there on Saturday talking to customers and is going to be doing some of the classes and training there.

I had a very posative experience there also. Gave me fair trade value for a pistol that I had and gave me a fair price on the purchase of a pistol they had on consignment. Real no BS style and they didn't mind some "tire kicking".

SSG Tactical in Fredericksburg

I've bought 2 Glocks from them so far. May be getting a SCAR from them in the near future. They know me by name and treat everyone with the utmost respect. Great gun store!
I had a SCAR 17 and 16. I also had a bunch of Glocks and a couple H&K pistols. Oh and a DDM4, but I sold everything when our government told me these dangerous tools can actually hurt someone. Apparently they grow legs and go on killing sprees.

I've dealt with these guys a few times both at a gun show and their shop in Fredericksburg. I don't mind making the hour trip due to the friendly service and selection. All the employees I've interacted with seem very engaging and personable, the shop itself is a place with something for everyone. They're basically my first choice whenever I need anything in Virginia.

I didn't have the right push tool so I had SSG change out some sights on my 24/7 Socom. Quality work, quick turn around, reasonable price. Good stuff from SSG.

I haven't bought anything from them yet, but the employees seem friendly, and are helpful without being pushy to make a sale. They were fairly busy when I went, but they still welcomed me, and told me to just let them know if I wanted to look at something or had any questions. They have a great selection with reasonable prices too.

Staff is pretty laid back and relaxed. I won a rifle and they were nice enough to give me dealer price for store credit on it. I used to store credit and got a $600 mp15 22 for like $300 bucks. That was around a year ago. I talked to Doug this past winter about a job for the summer and told me to e-mail him, sadly he never got back to me. No harm though I had another job already locked down.
