Yes, just the amendments, although the Grassley / Cruz amendment was a substitute bill, as I read it.

Reid just went through the closing business for the day and the schedule for tomorrow. He mentioned the votes on the remaining two amendments, but didn't say anything at all about the overarching bill.

I was just watching Thompson and Pelosi press conference on cspan. The keep saying how much of a shame it is that these amendments did not pass because it is "what the American people wanted".

I am American and I did not want his crap. Stop speaking for me you a$$ hats.

They keep talking about how they will just go at it again and again until they get what the "American people want". What they mean is until they get what they want.
