More BS from the paranoids.
NASCAR drivers have been advised to not do any interviews for fear of having the NRA logo in the background at an NRA sponsored NASCAR race,,, It is indeed a despicable time when the things that have created and protected this country are back burnered for liberal buttholes and paranoid idiots.http://news.yahoo.com/espn-sources-two- ... --spt.html This quote from Chris Murphy(D CT ) is testament enough the asinine idiocy of these morons. "This celebration of guns is inappropriate in the immediate wake of the Newtown massacre," Murphy said in a statement. "But most importantly, broadcasting this race, which will highlight the NRA and its radical agenda during this time, sends a harmful signal to the families affected by gun violence, as well as the millions of Americans who support sensible gun control measures and enjoy your sports programming." Sad Sad Sad!!!!

Connecticut has taken care of Connecticut's problem as they best see fit. How about they leave it to the other States to handle it in their best manner?

They're cars. Going in circles. For a long time.
I will never understand how this became a spectator sport.

What an idiot Murphy is. Its not a celebration of guns. it's a symbol of freedom and the NRA wishes nothing but to preserve freedom.
Guns are tools found in the hands of free men who built this country, keep it safe and growing. After only a few generations, the history of this country is being lost to ignorance, paranoia and evil people trying to control under-educated people for personal gain.

Since cars (or people operating them) "kill" far more people than guns, maybe the NRA should boycott NASCAR. I mean, who really needs a car that goes that fast? The government should do something about these hyper-velocity assault vehicles.

I do see a schism from "NorthEast/LEFT COAST" thought, and "Southern" thought...
Perhaps they now REGRET the War of Northern Aggression, and should rescind their hold as such. That would settle this whole gun debacle easily.
We LIKE AND USE guns, they do NOT! (shrugs)
Separate homelands... I'm good with cutting the border about the D.C./Maryland line.... I was gently reminded that "NoVa" ain't all Liberal bastions when I figured out I was CAMPING more in NORTHERN VIRGINIA with REDNECKS!
But I do sense a "boot the bastages out" mentality there now.

One sad thing about these anti gun clowns is that in the event of armed response being needed for whatever reason in this country ,, a lot of gun owners would die protecting these asshats, and most likely without so much as a thank you.... I agree on that border cutting ..DC / MD ..your on your own.........

Maybe I am missing something. Wasn't the whole idea of a united group of sovereign states to allow each state to manage/govern their own region based on the needs of their local people, but still having strength in numbers?VBshooter wrote:... The federal government and laws should only be standardizing how the state governments interact with each other and to ensure guarantied liberties. Everything else should be left to the states themselves. The federal government was never intended to make the US one massive unified state. There is no "one size fits all" legal system due to the massive diversity of our people.
So yea... if you don't like guns... move to Massachusetts or Rhode Island, or wherever they are heavily restricted. If you want more freedom when it comes to firearms, move to Virginia or Texas, etc.

Martinsville is a great race to go see in person. Its real racing, short track, lots of action. Ticket prices are fair, and the hot dogs are awesome, the people are great. This October will be a perfect one to see.Kreutz wrote:Ah, its the sunstroke that makes it fun. Got ya. :friends:DaRoller wrote:Go see one in person. Little bit different. :)

And the little bits of rubber that coat your entire body if you sit too close to the track.Kreutz wrote:Ah, its the sunstroke that makes it fun. Got ya.DaRoller wrote:Go see one in person. Little bit different.
It is an experience, though. I used to go over to the spring Talladega race when I lived in Georgia. I think most sports are completely different experiences when you're there, though (vs watching on TV).
