Re: CC Classes
Thanks for the info Possum. I'm pretty sure GM in Fredericksburg has the same deal. I'll have to check on it and post info in the F'burg area forum.
I'll probably also add the GM phone number to your original post if you don't mind.

Re: CC Classes
I hear the online class is alright - I've heard that there's some hoopla about a few judges in Virginia who have taken it upon themselves to not accept it as "demonstration" enough that you're familiar with a handgun.
Isn't it great how a judge can essentially make rules as they go? I wish I could live my life like that

I believe after july 1st judges have no choice but accept it. Iv'e had my permit before virginia was a shall issue state and classes were not required then.

Re: CC Classes
We conduct classes each month at the Bass Pro Shop in Ashland. Our Basic Firearms Safety class is $60 and you may register online at http://www.ProactiveShooters.com. In addition, we do a secondary course titled the Intro to Concealed Carry in Virginia which discusses Virginia law, holster options, etc. We also offer the Utah course for those interested in seeking a Utah non-resident concealed firearm permit.
