You've already told us, Mr. POTUS, that you intend to take our income and accumulated wealth away from us (this for the stated purpose of the "greater good" by helping the less fortunate). You've already TAKEN our autonomy and freedom of choice on health care away from us (this for the stated purpose of the "greater good" by helping the less fortunate and minimizing the cost of giving free health care to those who won't work for it; thereby "making us safer" FROM OURSELVES). And you've already demonstrated that at least under some circumstances, you're perfectly willing to dispatch a government drone to KILL us; thereby taking our very LIVES away from us (this for the stated purpose of the "greater good" by making us safer by killing some of us who are deemed by unspecified and unmonitored bureaucrats to be a "threat").

So YEAH; you're damned right we don't trust you and we think you'll take our guns away from us just as soon as you or some of your nameless faceless bureaucrats can think of a (barely) plausible excuse.

1) Participate in government no matter how ineffectual I feel.

2) Prep for the worst, hope for the best.

3) Protect me and mine, help my friends, keep a weary eye on what the scaly ones in government are doing, and try to trust in my God and my Skills to keep me and mine safe.

Of course, the problem is that Obama quite obviously doesn't intend to BE constrained; even by the Bill of Rights. He just wants to use the BOR to lull us into complacency. The odds that Obama won't ignore the Bill of Rights are about the same as that a dog won't piss on a fire hydrant.

Oh boy... Hank Johnson pulled the race card. I wonder what his take on North Korea nuking Guam is... Will he be pissed if Lil Kim capsizes Guam?? I know Johnson was very worried that an increase in Naval activity would do it.

Is it just me, or does our currently federal government treat the "Bill of Rights" like the "Bill of Privileges That Can Be Revoked At Any Time For Any Reason"?

What I find amazing is that he is saying the the government is constrained by our constitution and these fears are ginned up... Tell that to the people in RI, Mass, Conn, MD, Co, NY, NJ, and all the other states that are trying to execute the very orders we as free people fear. Seems that even at the state level, the elected politicians really don't care about the constraints laid out in the Constitution.
