Dominion Outdoors in Fishersville, VA usually has at least some ammo in stock, and gets shipments in pretty regularily.
I am going to get a Springfield XDs at the end of this week or start of next, and they have one in the display case. I went by to put money down on it, and they said not necessary, they have 12 more in the back! I could put money down, or wait. Maybe I should have, but I know the owner and some of the sales people, and they assured me that one would be there.

No ammo at my wakmarts or at either dicks in manassas or fair lakes. The shipment trucks were canceled for one day according to Dicks because of this big snow storm we are getting up here. I assume that is why the walmarts don't have anything either.

Just snagged 10 boxes of 9 MM from Natchez for $9.99 a box.

It is just Tula, but others have been wanting double.

Swung by Bob's Gun Shop downtown Norfolk tonight. Bought 2 boxes of RWS 230 grain .45 ACP for $22/box (two box limit).

It's as close as I've found to the Walmart .45 ACP price ($40/100).

At least 15 boxes as of closing time.

Winchester .45ACP available in 190 grain $42, 230 grain for a few bucks more (50/box).

No 9mm Luger, 22LR. 380 ACP and 38 were in stock. Plenty of shotgun.

Ok, my Walmart at the Manassas Mall off of 234 business just got a huge load of ammo in stock and they are tryign to stock the shelves with it but people are rolling in to buy it so fast.

2 cases of Winchester WB 223 (5.56)
1 case of Winchester WB 100 round 40 cal
2 cases of Winchester 555 22lr bricks
2 cases of Winchester 38 cal
Numerous Cases of Remington Turkey Loads
Several other cases of stuff as well, but not sure what they were.

For you folks in the Northern end of the Shenandoah Valley:

Shenandoah Sporting Goods in Toms Brook has a good supply of ammo, including 7.62 X 51 and 7.62 X 39. It's the ony place I've found locally stocking ammo for the .308. Box of 50 CBC ball M80 was $35.

Gander Mountain in Winchester yesterday had lots of ammo on the shelves too, just nothing for the .308.

Have had zero luck at any of the WalMarts in the area. Would love to hear about any smaller shops up and down the I-81 corridor.

I cannot believe it (ok, maybe I can) that Central Park Walmart in Fredericksburg removed all ammo and firearms from the floor... Unless they stuffed it elsewhere that I didn't see?

It was there yesterday, right where it has always been. Maybe people realized they were being robbed at the show and decided to clean out Walmart because it was so close?

The Wal-mart answer is inventory. I asked because they haven't put any of the firearms, or ammo out at the local one.

Chester Wal-mart has a plethora of .270 Winchester if anyone is looking for some.

Also, .30-06 as well.

My local walmart dude said they in fact did recently change their order process. He said before, the would order what they wanted and they would get only what they ordered or parts of what they ordered. He said now they submit a "wish list" and recieve whatever they recieve. He also said that the changes were planned before all the current shenanigans started.

Also the Central Park waldog does not sell firearms.

VA Beach - Bought a case of Aguila at The Armory for $399. Not the cheapest in town, but it's, from what I've seen, the most available. Confirmed with a co-worker that there were still several cases left as of Saturday.

As of 1013am gander is fredericksburg has 9mm bulk, 380 bulk, 40, 45acp, 223, 762 x39 and gobs of 17hmr in stock.

The only 22lr they have is 50rd federal boxes at $24.99 per.

Cabelas has 5.56 in stock as of this post (limit 5 boxes). At $9.99 a box, best I've seen in awhile.

The Wal-Marts I've checked a few times have been bone dry of anything people actually seem to want.

I did snag some 9mm CCI Blazer Brass from Palmetto State Armory though. $14.99/50. Not great. Not terrible. PSA sells out in no time though, you have to get lucky basically.

FYI, rifles seem to be coming back into stock on some of the big box websites. Right now Gander has a Bushmaster Carbon 15 and one of the lower model M&Ps available for order. $850 and $1100 respectively. Earlier this week they had a Sig and a Ruger available as well. Again, not great, but miles better than what Buds or Gunbroker has them for...if they have them at all. I think Cabelas had some a week ago. Sportsman Outdoor had some too over the past couple weeks.

Not local, but Atlantic Firearms has Wolf 7.62x39 FMJ in stock. What's the price? Well, if you have to ask you probably can't afford it. More precisely, you won't want to.

Got an email from Aim Surplus stating they had Wolf Ammo .223 55gr for $5.99 per box of 20 with a 25 box limit. Went directly to thier website ordered my 25 boxes, and as I confirmed my order.....they were sold out. Could not believe that they sold out in less than 20 minutes.
