Interesting to read about the way to grip a 1911. Just got my first one about a month ago, a Citadel 3.5" 1911. Shame on me, I haven't been to the range yet, but that means I haven't developed any bad habits yet. Will definitely try the thumb over safety grip. Gotta go soon! :packin:
