Gun BAN Blueprint; In their own words!

Post by slsc98 »

Unfortunately, the 63-page gun ban treatise this message refers to was "too large" for me (a new member) to attach here.

In order to view the pdf document, please go to: http://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=79715

Once you open it, "Save" the document to your files permanently, you will want to refer to it as America moves forward (or not).

NOte: SUGGEST ANY INTERESTED IN SEEING / PRESERVING THE "GUN-BAN-PLAN" DO SO BEFORE THE STATE OF MARYLAND HACKS INTO THE MDS WEBSITE AND REMOVES THE DOCUMENT.

This message, and the referenced document, needs to continue being passed around -- the liberals who wrote it never intended for it to "go public."

Share it with all our friends, neighbors and family members who have become the Sheep citizens, those content to wallow in denial and drink-how-they-think from mainstream media such as the Washington Post and the nightly news. The Sheep who have turned a society built by the generations who won two World Wars into a Generation of Idiots.

The referenced 63-page planning paper was written and published by J. Joseph Curran in 1999. For those who are not familiar, Curran was Maryland's fanatically anti-gun Attorney General from 1987-2007 before he retired and Gansler took the current reigns. He was the darling first of Gov. Schaeffer (who, among his other demented outburts, confessed to keeping a handgun "in my nightstand" right after he effected widespread restrictions on less-than wealthy MD citizens), then Gov. Glendenning (sweeping ban of guns, mags and private-transfers of 1994) and would've worked for Lt. Gov. Kathleen Kennedy-Townsend, had she not slipped out of MD -- and all elected offices forever -- in the middle of the night to avoid federal prison time.

In the referenced plan, Curran does a good job of outlining the national anti-gun crowd's multi-faceted plan for gradually chipping away at, and in some cases eventually banning, private gun ownership, especially of handguns. From "educating the children to think correctly" (this is the idea perfected by the Nazis, by the way) to taking background checks to draconian levels to suing the manufacturers and dealers into oblivion, it's all in there.

The report was available for a long time on the State AG's website. It's was eventually taken down, perhaps at least partially in the hope that the Pro-2A movement would forget such a bold and detailed statement from an elected official regarding the true methods and goals of gun control in this state existed. However, the Internet Archive is a wonderful thing.

Here's just a few particularly Illuminative observations about the referenced treatise on disarming private citizens:

1) Curran references the now-discredited researcher and debunked fabricator-author Michael Bellesiles. Soon after the referenced was written by Curran, fraud Michael Bellesiles was found, "guilty of unprofessional and misleading work" by an inquiry of distinguished historians.

2) See page 10:

"As attitudes have slowly but surely undergone radical transformation regarding such critical public health issues as smoking and using seatbelts, bicycle helmets, and child car restraints, so too must owning and carrying handguns come to be seen as dangerous and aberrant behavior (emphasis added)." p.10

And there, America, you have the national anti-gun movement's ultimate philosophy; "you are aberrant because you want a gun; therefore your application for a state-license to own a gun is denied!"

Your application gets ink-STAMPED: Automatic failure of the mental health exam.

"Now, Comrade; go with the nice man in the white coat, and he will help you fix that aberrant behavior"

3) Finally, bear in mind the liberals' closing statement:

Quote:

Our goal, then, must be to eliminate widespread handgun ownership through restrictive handgun licensing. . . . Law enforcement personnel must have handguns for use on the job. . . . People will no longer, however, own guns without demonstrating a compelling law enforcement or recreational reason to do so.
The presence of handguns in homes across America endangers everyone. We do not need them, and the misguided desire people feel to own handguns for self defense
would be greatly diminished if they did not feel threatened by widespread handgun ownership.

p.63

And for any who might be wondering; yes, tax-payer dollars WERE spent (probably to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars) in preparing this plan-of-action for taking guns out of the ownership of private citizens!

"...People will no longer, however, own guns without demonstrating a compelling law enforcement or recreational reason to do so."
......................................................................

Strikes me that's a rather odd concept: "demonstrating a compelling ..... recreational reason"..................

Be fun to have somebody explain that to me. I can only think of one recreational pursuit that might be characterized as compelling, and that's.... well, .... never mind about that.

"Explaining" the liberal concepts, dear Komrade, is precisely what the nice man in the white coat is under retainer to do. (And, I doubt it is 'fun,' based on what we know from other societies who've actually subscribed to and implemented "plans" like Curran's, e.g., Australia, England, etc -- the more you argue with these lunatics when they're in power only proves to them we are that much crazier (and therefore shouldn't be 'eligible' for their license to own a gun)!

Easy. It's the clause that will let your political donors and friends keep theirs, while denying everyone else. It's exactly how MD runs their CC permit system.

DryBones, I apologize I wasn't able to post it; and, it didn't occur to me the link / url I posted would require any to 'join' MDS.

I don't blame you for not wanting to "join another forum (I can relate!). I will try an pm you my off-line email address, when I can get to a desktop pc that is), you'll be able to email me and I can reply with the pdf.

I can't believe a 63pp pdf doc was "too large" but, it is . . .

It is frightening as well as readily apparent why they don't want pro-2A forces having hold of it.

I have already used it to open the eyes of several "Sheep citizens" who were previously happy to keep swallowing the gradual chipping away under the auspices of "But, this new law is r-e-a-s-o-n-a-b-l-e . . ."

DryBones, just curious but, did you actually *try* and use the link / url I provided to access the MDS.com thread and pdf attached to the very first message, starting that MDS.com thread?

Forgive me for asking if you did, its just that I'm just confused as to how DorminWS was able to access the link / url, thread and pdf attachment . . .

(. . . unless DorminWS is already a member of MDS.com?)

Indeed, enter 'gunderwood' to the rescue! He was cool enough to PM; I replied with my personal e-mail; he then responded offline; and, I subsequently replied to him with the pdf attached (whew!)

He is going to see if he can host the document here, for everyone's convenience and awareness-spreading.

I sure hope he can as, it CLEARLY dispells ANY remianing doubts even the most naive may have about just what the anti-gun crowd's ultimate goals are and, just how they intend to (already are!) going about attaining those goals of total disarmament ala UK and Australia!

Nope, not a member of MDS.com. Never even heard of it before. And the link to the MDS forum opened for me but wouldn't let me open the pdf. But the pdf language I picked up on was quoted in the top post in the forum. So you need be confused no more.
