Same old tune....
The guy who stands to make a bundle off obamacare is against anyone who is against obamacare...

He'll probably hand out those sashes for your government issued tunic...hope he allows you to pick out the color of the sash! For a price!

Wake up folks. The "they're all the same" line the pravda press sold you to get you to skip voting or vote for someone who couldn't win got you Obama...pure and simple! Time to kick out the marxists and ignore the usefull idiots. Obama isn't very popular he couldn't have been elected without good gun folks and conservatives not voting or wasting their vote. Get angry enough to see that it doesn't happen again or get used to ever more expensive guns and ammo till they're GONE!

So thats the choice... whine and cry about the repubics while your liberty goes away or ignore the kreutzs' of the world and defeat the marxists at the ballot box.

Stop the INSANITY the usefull idiots are selling!

Get MAD, GET ACTIVE!

Remember kreutz telling you Obama hadn't made a move for your guns and probably wouldn't? How did that work out for you?

Ah yes, because a Romney signature on an AWB would be soooo much better...

Let's examine this for a minute.
use·ful adjective \ˈyüs-fəl\

1: capable of being put to use; especially : serviceable for an end or purpose <useful tools>
2: of a valuable or productive kind <do something useful with your life>
id·i·ot noun \ˈi-dē-ət\
1: usually offensive : a person affected with extreme mental retardation
2: a foolish or stupid person
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/idiot
I would wager that you intended the first definition of useful and the second for idiot given the context. Thus, useful idiot is a foolish or stupid person who is capable of being put to use. Sounds accurate to me.

Now a person whom doesn't vote for either of the major parties is not useful to either. In fact, you could argue they're not even useful to the 3rd parties since there weren't enough to get them major party status last cycle. Even if you added every last 3rd party votes to Romney's total, he still would have lost! So they were not useful and we're certainly going to disagree on what foolish or stupid means. I don't believe it is foolish or stupid to vote your conscience, but you do; so I can only infer that principles and conscience are foolish and stupid to you if they may not result in winning. The tragic irony is that you sold your soul to the devil and still lost...how foolish and stupid is that?

Now, to vote for either major party simply because the letter next to their name, particularly when both candidates have demonstrated an antithesis towards firearms (Romney did sign an AWB and was proud of it), is the very definition of "useful." Romney had a point, 47% were going to vote for Obama regardless, but there also are another 47% who are going to vote for Romney regardless (that's you). Both parties consider these people useful because they don't have to really do anything to earn their vote. A few shallow promises or statements and you're good to go.

So the RINO's consider you useful and I would argue that nothing is more foolish or stupid than to sell out for nothing (i.e. losing in this case...which you did). So yes, you are correct...useful idiot. No wonder you're so angry.

It's been fun playing. See you next election cycle where I'll put money down today you will do the exact same thing regardless of who has that R next to their name. Ha! Wouldn't it be great if Obama ran as a Republican in 2016!

If you add the number ofgun folk and conservatives that the pravda media convinced that it was the "R" or "D" you were voting for and not the fact that Obummer had to be stopped the liar in chief would be golfing full time and burning tofu dogs in his back yard in Chitown now.

If a 3rd party solidifies that has a ghost of a chance and supports conservative constitutional values I'd be all in. In the meantime the pravda press isn't going to brainwash me into believing "they're all the same" and either waisting my vote or staying home on election day. Thus achieving their progressive ends. Honesty would dictate that you at least see how they used you.
-------
Useful idiot is a political term for misguided supporters of a cause.

Useful idiot may also refer to:

"Useful Idiot", a song by band Tool from their 1996 album Ænima
Useful Idiots, a novel by Jan Mark
Useful Idiots: How Liberals Got It Wrong in the Cold War and Still Blame America First, a book by Mona Charen
-------

If you think Romney woudn't be better than what we got, their routine obviously worked very well on you.

"It's been fun playing. See you next election cycle where I'll put money down today you will do the exact same thing regardless of who has that R next to their name. Ha! Wouldn't it be great if Obama ran as a Republican in 2016!"

That's the sick malase that elected Obummer.

You should be a very proud "usefull innocent"

I'm having a hard time rectifying your posts with your tagline by C.S. Lewis...

You mainly post rants with lots of name calling. Also seem to have an anger management problem. I'm starting to think you're putting on statist charade and tossed religion in there to be extra insulting or as camouflage.

Don't get mad, use you mind once in a while.

I called you nothing my friend but if the shoe fits you must consider wearing it.

You might also consider that if you're confused it might not be my dimness or responsability.

Your own delusion that you seem to believe solely through repeating it as a mantra. I genuinely don't give a damn either way about ACA as it does not affect my work directly.

Coulda sworn my liberties started going away under a certain Republicans administration and a Republican congress....what was that guys name again?

Shrub? Ah well, probably not important.

Remember kreutz telling you Obama hadn't made a move for your guns and probably wouldn't? How did that work out for you?
I'm actually still correct: no new gun laws yet. And the fact remains Romney signed an AWB and was so chock full of "bipartisanship" he'd have done it again to be a good sport. That guy had no convictions beyond whatever was expedient at the moment.

You wanna see a Republican POTUS again? Convince the GOP through your unique form of broken English that a genuinely civil liberties minded candidate would have crushed Obama even amongst his key youth demographic.

Few people like Obama, but he seemed better than the alternative to most, hence he won.

Not really IMHO..he gave stuff away and we have a lot more of those dirt bag types in this country now that think they are owed something to get out and take rather than earn...WE failed in getting people out there to vote the Obama machine out..Apathy,,lack of interest , laziness, whatever, We are stuck with the results till we either fix it or wait till it goes away,,,And the latter option sucks..

That's a big part of it (and his skin color), but I have a hunch if Romney championed say, ending the asinine war on drugs (as a matter of personal liberty-nevermind saving billions of taxpayer dollars) he would have put Obama on the defensive with a core constituency of his, young people. Conservatives would have appreciated the handing of such laws back to the states. Etc etc etc.

Instead it was business as usual.

Romney was a deeply flawed candidate; blaming third parties for Obamas win is not feasible mathematically or practically.

Lets see...

Gunderwood feeds incomplete facts to Kreutz who uses it to launch into a time worn tyrade that they're all the same while sprinkeling in a good measure of his own ad hominum attacks.

Sound familiar??????????

I never expected to tune into VGOF and see MSNBC!

I'm convinced....
-A medical records coder stands to make nothing from Obamacare (ACA to progressives).
-A socialist community aggitator can run a country.
-I don't have every right to voice my opinion as strongly as they do.
-They're all the same and no hope exists so i'm either not voting or throwing my vote away.
-all is lost anywy so resistance is futile.

Sorry boys...
I'm not going down without a fight!

VOTE!
MAKE IT COUNT!
CONVINCE TWO OTHERS TO DO THE SAME!
TUNE OUT THE MSNBC NARE DO WELLS!
GET MAD!

When did I say that?

I didn't!

Your mode elected Obama plain and simple.. you accept responsability sorta like him too!

I'm registered as a repubic so I can vote in primaries...I'm a Tea Party CONSERVATIVE.

The last election should have been ANYONE but Obama.

Defeating B HO was more vital than legalizing drugs or gay marrage or any other libertarian kiss on the cheek to liberals! My God man don't you even WANT to save our fine country? Libertarians and conservatives have a lot in common. Why allow the things that are secondary after retaining LIBERTY, to be used as a wedge by the pravda press and progressives to STEAL OUR LIBERTY??????

A few of us here on this very forum warned you again and again EXACTLY what was going to happen. It did and here we are. Stop whining about repubics and help. If you can't help get out of the bleeding way!

Yes, I just want to save it from those with R's next to their name as well. Far too many are statist just like Obama...one that comes to mind is Romney.

ratherfish wrote:Why allow the things that are secondary after retaining LIBERTY, to be used as a wedge by the pravda press and progressives to STEAL OUR LIBERTY??????
Liberty is my primary voting requirement, not specific policies as until I run for President there won't be a candidate I totally agree with. Someone like Rand Paul I could probably vote for as his central motive is increasing liberty and rolling back tyranny (at least what I've seen so far, but I haven't liked all of his policies). Romney was NOT that in the slightest. In fact, he did a lot to destroy liberty in MA. Why would I want him doing the same thing for the other 49 states? If you really wanted liberty, you couldn't have voted for Romney...what you wanted was Republican flavored statism vice Democrat flavored statism.

No, you've demonstrated yourself to be a Republican shrill. The TeaParty was founded on more principled grounds. You're the Republican status quo which is trying to take over the TP.

I'm kinda confused on your overall message, gunderwood. Please help me umderstand. If I'm reading correctly, democrats == statists (degredation of liberty, > nanny state, etc.), republicans == not much better (> "security", etc.), third party has little chance in winning, etc.

There really are only three choices (4 to include not voting, but...) and all choices are horrible, so what is a responsible, caring, and liberty loving voter to do? It sounds like even voting the least-horrible is being a shrill, rubber stamper, party fan boy, or whatever.
