New member here from Centreville. I found out about this forum after I created my Arsenal Gun Trust.
I'm not LEO or Military, just an avid shooter and moderate collector. I set up my trust in order to protect my collection and legally have ownership transfer to my wife and son when I pass. I also set it up in order to procure some NFA items, and I am awaiting my SBR tax stamp as I type this.
I'm into all types of shooting - pistols, rifles, clays - but my favorite is rifle shooting. I bought my AR15 in 2010 (thankfully!) and have loved shooting it more than any other rifle I own. I don't keep it for personal defense, since I currently live in a townhome, just for fun at the range. Also, because I have a RIGHT to own it, and a RIGHT not excersized is a RIGHT forfeited. I also have excersized my RIGHT to Conceal Carry, and am a CCW permit holder.
My next "wish" item is a Remington 700 .308, but I'm waiting for all the fervor to die down.
I haven't spent any time browsing the content of this site yet, but will be perusing the forums in the coming weeks. Thanks for having me, and long live the second ammendment!
