Rick. would you care to explain what that link is supposed to accomplish in regards to the OP.

It shows that Republicans are no longer to the right of center - they are to the left, exactly where Democrats used to be. That our morals and values are being eroded, and even the "conservative" party is allowing it to happen.

Don't get me wrong here - people can be as gay as they want to be - just keep it away from me and my kids, and don't try to force it down my throat by suggesting that they should be a "protected class".

I had to ask because I thought that link was a rebuttal to the movie. After going over many scenarios in my head I could not come to one reasonable conclusion where that argument has any validity.

You are 100% right about the shift. There is a graphical representation of how the entire political spectrum has shifted left of center in the movie. It states that our framers of the constitution were slightly right of center (about 1/4 of the way to the far right extreme radicalism). This is also where the Republican party used to sit and the the Democrat party used to sit about a 1/4 of the way to the far left. Now, when you shift everything to the left, the Democrat party sits at the extreme radical left while the Republican party is now left of center.

It's all pretty sad, really. We need a great awakening - and it needs to happen soon, or all will be lost. I wish I had the answers, and millions of dollars to fight back against it.

Here's the list that's referred to in the movie (thanks, Wikipedia) (emphasis mine)

The following is the list of Communist goals contained in The Naked Communist:[2] (Note: there is no such list in the original edition of the book.)

1 U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.
2 U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.
3 Develop the illusion that total disarmament by the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.
4 Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
5 Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.
6 Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.
7 Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

31 Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
32 Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture—education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
33 Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.
34 Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
