They get emboldened to say "YOU WILL DO X-Y-Z!"
Really? Whose gonna make me? You? You're unarmed. The Police? There are 720 RPD members, I can mention that about 1/2 to 2/3's of those are PROGUN... The military? Half are Oathkeepers/ProGun...
Once more, think of this... Dorner was both military, police, ANTI-GUN, AND LIBERAL... By himself? He kept the state of California busy for a week or so, and killed police officers/LEO's Family.
There are some as crazy within the Firearms community, soooo multiple that as Dorner times 10, maybe 100, maybe even 1000. Now, think about the ex-veterans who are progun, BUT NOT willing to behave like Dorner... then those who are ex-LEOs who are progun, BUT NOT willing to behave like Dorner...
Now add an organized civil disobedience of not registering our weapons, stocking up ammo, and every forum, and website that caters to us, erasing their data... Even with the data collected by DHS, and such... that's quite a feat to find some of those who want to be off the grid...
So you have 60-100 million gunowners, half of which would probably give up their guns, and such easily... that's still 30-50 MILLION AGITATED GUN OWNERS UNREGISTERED WITH STOCKPILES OF AMMO WHO CANNOT BE FOUND AND HOSTILE TO THE FORCES COMING FOR THEM!
So again... Anti-gunners are stupid. Because it's like a small, skinny loudmouth, with a big friend, picking a fight... only to find out the big friend ain't so friendly, and he has more in common with the guy whose being singled out by the small...skinny...loudmouth.
Just saying, if you use logic, and some basic assumptions... you should be shutting your loud mouth now... Just saying...
Anti-Gunners really are stupid.

Those folks don't operate on logic. If they did, our world would be much different.

I hope they know I'm a horrible shot but pride myself on how well I can cleave the flesh from bones with my chef knives, believe me I'm less dangerous with the gun.
So tell me what do the liberals say I HAVE to do again?

Rev,
I am with you in theory, and would love for it to be so. But I'm not so sure.
I think a lot of people (and I'm NOT referring to you) talk the talk now. But when they don't give up their guns the first time they are asked (nicely?), there will probably be 10 or more ATF agents at the door. And it is one guy on the other side of the door with an undisclosed amount of weapons and ammunition. Still doesn't look like the odds are in his favor.
Still, you are right. It won't be easy. But I think they have been planning for this day at least as long as we have been expecting it to come. My only hope is that they will realize it's more trouble for them than it's worth. But even though there are millions of us, and we may be united in spirit and in cause, we are logistically separated and therefore on an island unto ourselves.
Let's pray it never comes to any of this.

Re: Anti-Gunners really are stupid.
As I've stated...
There are roughly 700K LEOs (local, state, and Fed), along with military (NG included). Cut that in half support the confiscation. 350K against another 350K.
Then you're correct, 10-15 LEOs/Military doing confiscation. Sure they'll tap out the gun owners, but they'll lose 2-3 guys... Multiple 30 MILLION gun owners.
After about 1500-3000 LEOs/Military lost to attempted confiscations, most of them will go "I ain't paid enough for this sh't." And go about it half-heartedly, IF AT ALL.
It's Westmoreland's war of attrition played out in guerrilla warfare, within the borders of the U.S.A. IN THE MEDIA!
ONLINE! WITH YOUTUBE...
It's gonna be ugly, but seriously, with the soap boxes, voting boxes, and ammo boxes... Things will be decidely different. People don't like seeing their own killed in senseless wars over seas. They DAMNED sure don't wanna see it at HOME!
Like you? I think the Admin will not be ACTIVELY going for firearms, but passively, like a secondary offense.
