Well, yesterday my wife and I dropped off our applications for a CHP. The lady that processed our paperwork said we were the 125th and 126th applicants they have had since the first of the year. I definitely think that's a good sign
Now we just have to wait through that backlog.

If this was for a resident CHP then the longest wait you have would be 45 days, after that the court should issue the defacto permit untill they issue the correct one.
Yes it was for a resident permit. If it takes the full 45 days I should get it mid March. From others I have talked to the turn around is usually 3 weeks, so hopefully we should get them around the 20th of February.

Both of ours came in the mail today. 14 days total from the time of submission. Definitely not as bad a wait as some folks I know indicated

The wife just called the Arlington Circuit Court and said she had filed 52 days ago.
They said it would be 60-90 days. She said she wanted a temporary license.
They refused. Government in violation of its own laws.
Anyone else had a similar experience?
