Saiga Shotguns

Post by freedomisntfree »

Can someone please explain to me how I went and put money down on A Saiga 12 (retail 610.00) and the VERY nesxt day i went to pay it off and the shop owner said it was noe $1,100.00! I can understand making a profil, but when you already have a deposit on a gun which was 60% of it, how can they legally get away with that.

That's pretty jacked up. I guess you could sue them if you want to, but you'll spend way more that way. Did they offer to return your deposit after you told them to pack sand?

You put good faith money down, and then he changed the contract? Not cool. Hold his feet to the fire, and then file a complaint with the state.

Did you get a receipt with your deposit showing the total purchase price?

That is not cool. My dealer would never do that. He appreciates his customers too much.

Where'd you find a saiga 12 in this market for $610?
I had a SCAR 17 and 16. I also had a bunch of Glocks and a couple H&K pistols. Oh and a DDM4, but I sold everything when our government told me these dangerous tools can actually hurt someone. Apparently they grow legs and go on killing sprees.

If you have a receipt with the original price and your deposit, if it were me I'd have a very frank discussion with him pointing out how wrong an action this is on his part. If this doesn't sway him I'd ask for my deposit back and afterwards inform him that you strongly feel that others should be made aware of his shady business practices to the extent that you will make it your life's mission to inform the local shooting community by word of mouth and on the internet. He potentially stands to lose a lot more in loss of future business and reputation as an "honest" dealer. Honestly, his action is despicable and worthy of strong contempt. He is a cheat of the lowest kind. This behavior should not be tolerated.

Small claims court wouldn't.

Going to need something like this if you want to pursue legal action.

customer satisfaction is a large part of advertisment and return business revenue. Customer dissatisfaction can ruin a business. Let them know you will let others know what they did to you unless they give you what they promised.
