Glock 380
Re: Glock 380
The short answer is the Gun Control Act of 1968. The caliber and blowback action of the .380 is what kills it (a loss of 12 points over the 9mm versions) for import. Plus, Glock probably thought there was not all that much of market in the US for a .380 pistol that is the same size as their 9mm pistol.

Re: Glock 380
Considering Glock can and does make complete pistols here in the US, I would say it has more to do with bean counters not feeling it is worth it and has nothing to do with importation restrictions at this time. 20 years ago was a different story with regard to their US manufacturing capabilities.
