Im thinking of proposing this law
Re: Im thinking of proposing this law
But you know, you go ahead, and lone wolf it.
Re: Im thinking of proposing this law
Even in the police state of NY, reports yesterday are that there is already massive civil resistance to the state's demand for firearm registration. We are not in "gun-grabbing reality" yet and we will not be, as long as we can say No to the fascist-wannabes.
I THINK THERE'S A TIME PERIOD FOR COMPLIANCE THERE
We can of course lay back, wait and see what happens there and elsewhere, and work to make sure Obama doesn't get re-elected cause there is no way that will happen.
Oh, wait......

Well that's an opinion, but I think its not based in the reality of the day
The FED has demonstrated that they can and will regulate arms, and the USSC has stood by that
The State has demonstrated that they can and will regulate arms, and the USSC has stood by that
So living with that reality, what exactly are those that claim all these laws and positions are unconstitutional planning on doing as the powers that be continue to move forward using legal precedent tilted in their favor where they can ?

Re: Im thinking of proposing this law
The way I read the proposal, and what is implied by it's title, the passage of this as law would require me to gos buy special containers. I do not need and do not want special containers. Besides, there is not a lockable container available (new) for under a grand that I can't get into without a key or code. Also, since VA does not require gun registration, a portion of that proposal would be difficult to enforce. Op, I understand what you mean to accomplish, but this will backfire if passed. You asked what we thought, and we told you. Please, take no offence; just because we don't like your idea doesn't mean we don't like you. Most of us here have stated an idea that wasn't well received by everyone. Its ok; on to the next idea.
